Flight connections
Passengers who have to take another flight and/or continue with another airline company (passengers in transit), it is highly recommended to know in advance which will be the terminal corresponding to their flights in your stopover, for your comfort and tranquility.
Time required to reach connecting flights varies depending on the route, the airline, whether you need to pick up your luggage if not checked to destination, or you must change terminal.
Note that if you do not have a boarding pass for your next flight and/or you have to need to pick up your luggage that is not checked to destination, you must leave the boarding area, pass through immigration controls if any, and make a new check-in to your airline check-in counter. Then you will need to pass through security checkpoints to re-enter the boarding area.
Keep in mind you should add additional time to this process if you must to change terminal.

- For passengers in transit who need change terminal, T1 to T2 (T1 to T2A, T1 to T2B or T1 to T2C), or vice versa, connection between terminals are outside the terminals, so it is necessary to leave and re-enter the terminals boarding areas, through the respective immigration and security controls in all cases.
Connection between terminals - For passengers in transit arriving and departing terminal T1 without their next boarding pass, self check-in kiosk are also available at the boarding area, but only for Air France-KLM, Austrian Airlines, Croatia Airlines and Lufthansa airlines.

The passengers in transit terminal T1 without their next boarding pass. or passengers with luggage that is not checked to destination, must leave the boarding area and go to the check-in counter airline of their next flight. - For passengers in transit arriving and departing terminal T2 (T2A, T2B or T2C), who already have their boarding pass, without luggage or baggage checked to destination, it is not necessary to leave the boarding area as the boarding areas of the terminal T2 (T2A, T2B and T2CC) are linked together by a corridor, and the maximum walking distance between them is 7 minutes.
